Succeeding the Asante golden stool as the 16th Asantehene, the goal of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has been to guard the interest of Asanteman, in growth and development. Through his charity foundation, the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation, he pushes the bounds to promote this goal of change and transformation not only in Asanteman but the whole of Ghana. Introduction
The Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation is the foundation the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II formed decades ago with the mission to improve the quality of life of Ghanaians by enhancing access to quality education, health, and sustainable infrastructure and more recently, promoting programs in STEM, ICT, tourism and socioeconomic empowerment as is essential in today’s existence.
Their works over the years have touched many lives in the country and beyond and brought many positive changes in infrastructure and social development. With like-minded persons and institutions, they continue realizing social investment goals and objectives to benefit hundreds of thousands of people, communities, and all of Ghana.
The Otumfuo Foundation operates under four main thematic areas; Education, Health, Water and Sanitation, Culture and Heritage, and Entrepreneurship. Here are some of the uncountable projects undertaken by the Otumfuo Foundation.
EDUCATION
Reversing the fallen standard of education by enhancing access to quality education through the provision of ultra-modern, state-of-the-art facilities and equipment as well as scholarship schemes to help needy but brilliant children.
HEALTH
Enhancing access to quality and sustainable health care services for vulnerable population and helping to reduce mortality rate (child and maternal) and the spread of HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases.

To make Information and Communication Technology accessible to local communities.
POTABLE WATER
Improving access to sustainable portable water to all communities to preserve and protect natural resources.
POVERTY ALLEVIATION
To reduce poverty through socio-economic empowerment and human development.
TOURISM
To Promote tourism and preserve our culture and heritage.
TOGETHERNESS
Promoting dialogue amongst people of different tribal, racial and religious backgrounds as an alternative means of conflict resolution in order to foster understanding, mutual respect and peace in Ghana.
